Electra envisions a world where energy storage expands throughout multiple sectors, reaching global electrification goals, and we intend to take part by removing battery technology barriers. Electra creates active embedded battery pack controls, design simulation software, and data analysis to address the issues current e-mobility hardware presents.

Electra was co-founded in 2015 by Fabrizio Martini, who came to the idea while working as a Principal Investigator on a NASA project. With the latest in Machine Learning and access to over 300 cell models for simulation, Electra is equipped to enable current battery pack technology for optimal range, performance, lifetime, and safety across applications and industries. CEO & Co-Founder

Fabrizio founded Electra in 2015 and his entrepreneurial mindset and engineering expertise has paved the way for Electra's flagship products. Fabrizio is an expert in energy storage technologies and has 12 years of prior experience in business and development in the ultracapacitor field.

NICK CHAKALOS

COO

Nick oversees all operations, marketing, human resources, finance, and legal activities. He has experience in C-Suite positions, general management, operations, business development, product and engineering positions as well as extensive business experience. He has worked within a wide array of industries for several start-ups as well as larger public companies. He holds AB/BE degrees in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Babson College’s FW Olin Graduate School of Business.

VP of Engineering

Dilip Warrier brings 20+ years of experience in software development and leadership as well as a PhD in Electrical Engineering to the technical team. Dilip's expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, as well as extensive education in Electrical Engineering is crucial to the technical team.

Dr. Zhang is a leading expert in applying ML/AI technology to energy storage management practices. He is currently the Keith and Nancy Endowed Career Development Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington and focuses his research in control, optimization and learning applied to power systems and other cyber-physical systems.
